Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department in the Saarland region, we are recruiting a physician for a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) or lead specialist role within a broadly positioned and highly regarded general pediatrics service. Desired areas of clinical focus include Neuropediatrics, Gastroenterology, Diabetology, Allergology, as well as Pediatric Palliative Care. Key duties involve supervising residents in training, participating in senior pediatric on-call duties (Hintergrunddienst), and contributing to the strategic ongoing development of the department.

• Certification in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine is required.
• Prior leadership experience is preferred, but explicitly not a strict requirement.
• On-site opportunity to acquire clinical certificates (EEG, Epileptology, Diabetology) and additional subspecialty qualifications (e.g., Allergology).
