Specialist Physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Specialist Physician (Facharzt) for outpatient care, available full-time or part-time on a permanent contract starting October 1, 2027. The clinical responsibility combines specialized pediatric cardiology care across all age groups with general pediatric support, alongside active participation in practice management and medical billing. Structurally unique, the position remains tied to inpatient subspecialty care through participation in the pediatric cardiology on-call roster shared with two affiliated pediatric hospitals. This appointment represents a rare opportunity for a flexible, family-friendly role within pediatric cardiology. While subspeciality certification in Pediatric Cardiology is ideal, it is not a strict prerequisite.

• Board certification in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required
• Subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology or extensive clinical experience preferred.
• Willingness to participate in the joint specialized on-call roster alongside partner hospitals.
