Senior physician (m/w/d)
The position
For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) in Neuropediatrics responsible for managing the EEG laboratory and holding the mid-term perspective to establish and lead an independent neuropediatric unit. Operating as a Level 1 Perinatal Center and a certified Pediatric Oncology Center, the department treats approximately 4,500 inpatient cases annually within an academic university environment offering comprehensive support for medical teaching, doctoral degrees, habilitation, and in-house DEGUM Level I certification. A completed subspecialty board certification in Neuropediatrics is not mandatory - an advanced stage of training alongside the fulfillment of foundational requirements is fully sufficient.
- Board certification in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required
- Advanced subspecialty training in Neuropediatrics is sufficient.
