Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in the Ruhr area, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt mit Leitungsfunktion) in Neuropediatrics. As one of the largest hospitals in the Greater Ruhr area comprising ten specialized departments and serving as an Academic Teaching Hospital, the facility provides an outstanding clinical infrastructure alongside a family-friendly work environment (certified by audit "berufundfamilie" since 2010). The appointment carries a distinct mandate to provide clinical and organizational leadership for the neuropediatric division, thereby presenting an excellent opportunity for experienced pediatric specialists eager to autonomously direct a subspecialty while operating within an established, collaborative pediatric department.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) along with the subspecialty in Neuropediatrics and proven senior clinical experience required.
• An executive drive and strategic ability to independently manage, expand, and shape a clinical subspecialty unit within the department.
• Simultaneously, a parallel Senior Physician (Oberarzt) position in Neonatology is available at the same hospital
