The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in South Westphalia, we are recruiting a Department Head / Chief Physician (Chefarzt) in Neuropediatrics, starting immediately, available full-time or part-time (minimum 75% appointment). Executive leadership roles with explicit part-time flexibility represent a rare opportunity within the German healthcare landscape, offering an outstanding balance of strategic leadership and work-life integration. In this position, you will direct the specialized outpatient clinic, oversee the dedicated inpatient pediatric neurology ward, and lead a large interdisciplinary team. Serving a broad supra-regional catchment area, the department manages 750 inpatient and 2,400 outpatient cases annually while performing over 3,000 EEGs. High standards of specialized care are underlined by formal certifications as a DGfE-certified Epilepsy Center and a DGM-certified Neuromuscular Center.

Proven senior executive experience.

Deep expertise in epileptology, electroencephalography (EEG certification), and neuromuscular disorders
