Specialist Physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in South Westphalia, we are recruiting a permanent Specialist Physician (Facharzt) with a guaranteed option for promotion to Senior Physician (Oberarzt). This position offers an ideal promotion path for clinicians taking their first career step post-residency. Ideally, candidates hold a subspecialty in Neonatology or additional qualifications in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology, Gastroenterology, or Neuropediatrics. While desirable, these are explicitly not prerequisites. The hospital is a tertiary care center with 29 specialized departments. The pediatric unit features 40 beds and treats over 7,500 children annually.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required.
• Subspecialties or additional qualifications welcomed, but not required.
• Drive to transition into senior clinical responsibilities (Oberarzt) and contribute to patient care within a large pediatric department.
