Senior physician / Specialist Physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in South Westphalia, we are recruiting a position to be filled at either Specialist Physician (Facharzt) or Senior Physician (Oberarzt) level, depending on qualification. This flexible setup is designed for clinicians assessing whether taking the step into senior leadership aligns with their current career stage. The role calls for a strong interest in actively shaping the clinic's future positioning and advancing quality of care. Holding a formal subspecialty is desirable, but explicitly not required. The facility operates as a tertiary care hospital with 29 departments and serves as an Academic Teaching Hospital. The pediatric clinic includes a perinatal unit and provides interdisciplinary support for surgical disciplines.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required.
• A formal subspecialty is welcomed, but not required.
• Motivation to participate in shaping clinical quality and organizational structures, with readiness for senior-level clinical responsibilities.
