Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in the Bonn region, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) available from 50% to 100% employment. In this role, you will assume a central position in leading and developing the department's neonatology and pediatric intensive care services. The hospital explicitly supports the implementation of personal clinical projects and trials. The unit operates 10 neonatal ICU beds, 4 pediatric ICU beds, and 24 intermediate care (IMC) beds, managing around 2,400 births and treating approximately 90 VLBW infants (<1,500g) annually. The department enjoys a strong regional reputation for palliative neonatology and utilizes its own state-of-the-art simulation center for regular clinical team training.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) with subspecialty qualification in Neonatology and/or Pediatric Intensive Care.

• Clinical leadership skills, motivation to drive academic/clinical projects.
