Lead senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this new pediatric care facility opened in April 2026 and continuously expanding (160 to 180 beds for approximately 60 sick children and their families), we are recruiting a permanent position in full-time or part-time. The role encompasses building the specialized department for Congenital Heart Defects and Pediatric Cardiology, including internal processes and quality management. Diagnostics include high-end echocardiography, spiroergometry on treadmill and bicycle ergometer, long-term ECG and blood pressure monitoring, and a modern POCT lab. A board certification subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology is required; an EMAH qualification is ideally present, but not mandatory.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) with the subspecialty in Pediatric Cardiology (Kinderkardiologie) required.
• EMAH qualification ideally present, but not mandatory.
• Drive and strategic commitment to establish the pediatric cardiology unit, internal clinical processes, and quality management within a brand-new facility.
