Lead senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this clinic, we are recruiting a permanent position in full-time or part-time to establish and lead the Department of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, combined with the role of Deputy Medical Director for the entire hospital. Core responsibilities include shaping clinical concepts for family-oriented and adolescent rehabilitation, alongside building a network of medical colleagues, social services, professional societies, and patient organizations. Prior rehabilitation experience is explicitly not required. If additional qualifications in Social Medicine or Rehabilitation are missing, the clinic funds the required courses, with no final examination needed. Obtaining training authorization (Weiterbildungsermächtigung) for the subspecialty is planned for the future.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) with the subspecialty in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology required.
• Drive to build the department and network, alongside motivation to step into the role of Deputy Medical Director.
