Lead senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this tertiary care center serving northern and central Sachsen-Anhalt, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) on a permanent basis, offering full-time or part-time options with highly flexible working models. The department features 80 inpatient beds- including 16 intensive care beds- and treats approximately 3,000 inpatients, 500 day-clinic cases, and 5,000 outpatients annually. Clinical strongholds include a Level 1 Perinatal Center, Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, and Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology. A key mandate of this role is driving innovative care models, with a dedicated focus on clinical digitalization and telemedicine. The institution offers extensive career development: additional subspecialties can be acquired on-site, and personal research projects as well as academic progress (Doctorate or Habilitation) are actively encouraged and supported.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin), ideally with a completed subspecialty or the ambition to complete one on-site.
• Strong interest in advancing digital health and telemedicine initiatives, combined with senior clinical leadership skills and optional academic drive.
