Senior physician in Neonatology (m/w/d)

The position

For a well-established faith-based hospital (Ordensspital) in Vienna featuring a prominent obstetric unit, we are recruiting a permanent Senior Physician (Oberarzt) in Neonatology. This position offers a distinct strategic mandate: The department explicitly invites the incoming physician to actively contribute to the future trajectory and design of its clinical services. Culturally and clinically, the clinic places a unique emphasis on advanced patient safety protocols, regular interdisciplinary simulation training, and holistic, family-centered care. Entry requirements are intentionally stream-lined: The appointment requires board certification in Pediatrics along with solid practical experience in neonatology. A formal subspecialty qualification (Additivfach / Schwerpunkt) is explicitly not required. The schedule is tailored for strong work-life integration, featuring core operating hours that conclude in the early afternoon.
