Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) requiring a completed subspecialty in Neonatology at an established facility designated as one of two regional Level 1 Perinatal Centers and part of a network perinatal system. The department operates 60 beds across five specialized wards, including a perinatal unit with rooming-in and a 12-bed integrated pediatric psychosomatics section, treating over 8,000 inpatient and outpatient cases annually with approximately 2,300 births. An additional subspecialisation (e.g., Endocrinology, Diabetology, Pulmonology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Neuropediatrics, or Pediatric Cardiology) is appreciated but not mandatory, while candidates with academic interests are offered explicit financial funding and structural support to establish personal research projects.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) along with a subspecialty in Neonatology strictly required.
