Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) responsible for ward leadership, participation in the senior on-call roster, and playing an active part in the ongoing development of the department. Managing approximately 4,000 inpatient and 7,000 outpatient cases annually, the hospital operates a Level 1 Perinatal Center with specialized focuses in Allergology, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, and Neuropediatrics, complemented by structured disease management programs (DMP) for asthma, diabetes, and atopic dermatitis. A fully completed subspecialty in Neonatology is not strictly required - an advanced stage of training is sufficient, as candidates are warmly encouraged to apply even if they do not yet possess extensive experience across every single area of responsibility.

• Board certification in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required; advanced subspecialty training in Neonatology preferred.
• Broad clinical scope with clear support for professional onboarding and active participation in clinical service design.
