Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) to oversee the neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit (NICU/PICU, 16 beds) with direct integration into the delivery room and postpartum ward. Operating out of a modern, newly constructed facility, the department maintains a formal academic cooperation with a university hospital. Key duties include the primary care and resuscitation of high-risk preterm and newborn infants, operating the dedicated neonatal emergency transport service, and overseeing the on-site human milk bank.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) along with a subspecialty qualification in either Neonatology or Pediatric Intensive Care Medicine is required.
