Senior physician in neonatology/IMC (m/w/d)

The position

For a regional specialty hospital located in the greater Vienna area, we are recruiting a permanent Senior Physician for the Neonatal Intermediate Care Unit (Oberarzt/Stationsleitung IMC-Frühgeborenenstation). This strategic appointment carries a clear mandate for expansion: The hospital is systematically upgrading its neonatal care capacity to significantly reduce secondary patient transfers to tertiary centers. The position is embedded in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical setting featuring in-house Neuropediatrics and specialized Prenatal Diagnostics. While the job title highlights the subspecialty of Neonatology, the formal prerequisites explicitly require only general board certification in Pediatrics.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required.
• A formal subspecialty degree in Neonatology (Additivfach / Schwerpunkt) is desirable, but not mandatory.
