Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) in Neuropediatrics available full-time or part-time starting immediately. We are seeking a leadership-minded clinician passionate about guiding and developing a medical team with vision, offering in return a long-term career perspective, broad strategic scope, and self-directed duty and leave scheduling managed directly by the physician team. As the sole pediatric department within the district, the hospital treats over 3,000 inpatients annually across three wards, forms an integral part of a supra-regional Social Pediatric Center (SPZ), and is accredited as a DDG Diabetes Center. Night coverage is organized via on-call duty rather than shift work, supplemented by dedicated assistance with local housing relocation.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) and the subspecialty in Neuropediatrics strictly required.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and ambition to actively expand regional neuropediatric care structures within a supportive hospital system.
