The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Leading Senior Physician (Leitender Oberarzt) in Neuropediatrics, focused on strategically expanding neuropediatric services including EEG diagnostics and strengthening collaborative ties with the Interdisciplinary Early Intervention Center. This executive position provides an extensive leadership mandate to define the subspecialty's clinical profile, advance integrated outpatient and inpatient care workflows, and foster regional healthcare partnerships. The comprehensive pediatric department operates three wards including a Level 2 Perinatal Center (Perinatalzentrum Level 2) and a dedicated pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), supported by in-house Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology, and Pediatric Psychosomatics.

Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) together with the subspecialty in Neuropediatrics and proven senior clinical leadership experience.
Strong strategic and organizational drive to actively design, expand, and lead regional neuropediatric network structures.
