Lead senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department, we are recruiting a Leading Senior Physician (Leitender Oberarzt) in Pediatric Gastroenterology to assume overall medical and organizational leadership of the subspecialty division. This key executive appointment offers a broad mandate to establish and advance both inpatient and outpatient care structures, build a dedicated pediatric endoscopy and functional diagnostics service, and lead as well as mentor the junior medical staff. Positioned within an academic, university-affiliated setting, the role provides ideal conditions for engaging in academic teaching and clinical research projects.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) along with the subspecialty in Pediatric Gastroenterology and extensive hands-on endoscopic expertise required.
• Strategic leadership ability combined with a strong drive to shape and expand specialized gastroenterological care models.
