Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in the Düsseldorf region, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) in General Pediatrics available full-time or part-time. Treating approximately 2,500 inpatient cases annually, the department operates a Level 2 Perinatal Center featuring a state-of-the-art neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) newly constructed in 2020. The facility is embedded in an extensive pediatric care network comprising a Social Pediatric Center (SPZ), a pediatric day clinic, a child protection unit, and an integrated family cafe. A distinct professional highlight of this position is the opportunity for career progression: as Pediatric Pulmonology and Allergology represent a primary focus of the clinic, full subspecialty training in Pediatric Pulmonology can be directly completed in-house.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) paired with comprehensive clinical experience in General Pediatrics required.
• Strong motivation to shape patient-centered clinical workflows combined with an interest in pursuing subspecialty qualification in Pediatric Pulmonology.
