Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in South Westphalia, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) featuring a strong strategic mandate to actively shape and secure the future development of the department. Operating within a major tertiary care hospital encompassing 29 specialized departments, the pediatric clinic manages 40 beds alongside an integrated perinatal unit. Ideally, candidates bring a subspecialty in Neonatology or additional qualifications in Pediatric Endocrinology/Diabetology, Gastroenterology, or Neuropediatrics. However, these are explicitly not strict requirements. Clinicians with alternative subspecialties or strong general pediatric backgrounds are equally encouraged to apply.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required.
• Subspecialties or certified focus areas (e.g., Neonatology, Diabetology, Gastroenterology, Neuropediatrics) welcomed, but not mandatory.
• Drive to actively participate in strategic service expansion and the long-term positioning of the pediatric department encouraged.
• On-site childcare facilities.
