The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in the Bonn region, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) in Neuropediatrics offering flexible working time options between 50% and 100%. Part-time employment at senior level is explicitly supported. The role combines specialized outpatient care delivered through a personal clinical authorization with inpatient management across general pediatric and intensive care wards. Operating with a clear strategic mandate, you will conceptually drive the expansion of neuropediatric services. Core clinical focal points include acute neuropediatrics, epileptology, and developmental disorders, working in close interdisciplinary synergy with Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pediatric Pulmonology. Based at an Academic Teaching Hospital featuring 23 specialized departments, the position offers exceptional work-life integration through a structured five-day work week.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) along with the subspecialty in Neuropediatrics or advanced clinical training in the field.
• Clinical expertise in acute neuropediatrics and epileptology combined with the drive to autonomously manage an outpatient clinic and strategically develop departmental services.
