Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in East Westphalia-Lippe, we are recruiting a Senior Physician (Oberarzt) available full-time or part-time to assume a senior collaborative leadership role within the General Pediatrics team. The department features an integrated pediatric surgery unit and treats approximately 3,200 inpatients and 3,800 outpatients annually. A primary institutional highlight is the clear strategic mandate provided to establish an authorized outpatient clinic (Ermächtigungsambulanz), offering a compelling opportunity for clinicians eager to build a specialized outpatient profile. The clinic seeks a dedicated pediatrician with strong broad-spectrum expertise. While specific subspecialty interests are highly welcomed, they are not a mandatory prerequisite. Furthermore, the academic framework offers full backing for academic advancement, including completing a medical doctorate.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) with strong expertise in general pediatric care
• Subspecialties or certified focus areas are desirable but optional.
