Senior physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Pediatric Department located between Hamburg and Kiel, we are recruiting a Senior Physician with a distinct leadership mandate. In this role, you will act as deputy to the Lead Senior Physician across the neonatal and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU/NICU) equipped with six mechanical ventilation beds, within a Level 2 Perinatal Center managing approximately 1,000 births annually. Additionally, you will oversee the emergency department and the day clinic. The pediatric clinic comprises 34 beds, treating over 2,000 inpatients and around 8,000 outpatient emergencies each year.

• Active guidance and joint leadership of the medical team to drive ongoing departmental development.
• Subspecialty qualification in Neonatology and strong leadership competence are required.
