Senior physician / Specialist Physician (m/w/d)

The position

For this Social Pediatric Center (SPZ) in East Westphalia, we are recruiting a full-time position in Neuropediatrics - at Senior Physician (Oberarzt) level depending on qualifications, with a clear succession path to assume the overall leadership of the SPZ. Completing the Neuropediatrics subspecialty is not a prerequisite; both the subspecialty and board certifications in EEG and Epileptology can be obtained fully on-site. As the region's second-largest pediatric clinic with a Level 1 Perinatal Center, the department provides comprehensive tertiary care. Clinical assets include a DGfE-certified epilepsy outpatient clinic, integration with the Ruhr Neuromuscular Center, participation in the GENERATE and Pediatric Stroke networks, a dedicated Trisomy 21 clinic, and regular human genetics case conferences. On-site childcare is available.

• Board certification in Pediatrics (Facharztanerkennung Kinder- und Jugendmedizin) required.
• Neuropediatrics subspecialty is desirable or can be completed on-site.
• Motivation to further develop social pediatric services and step into the SPZ Directorship in the medium term.
